Hello!

I'm Morris Åstrand, a Procedural Artist student at The Game Assembly, born in 2004. I have a genuine passion for game development and love creating worlds for others to explore. While I enjoy working independently, I thrive in team environments. Collaborating, planning, and building things together is what fuels my creativity.
Ever since I got my first Lego set, I’ve been obsessed with creating. Whether it was Lego, drawings, cardboard weapons, or now games, I’ve always been drawn to making things with my own hands. That same spark continues to drive me in game development today.
Outside of game dev, I love spending quality time with friends, family, and my dog, Kenta. With both of my parents working in the film industry, it’s no surprise that I developed an interest in VFX early on. I also make a point of staying active and not spending too much time behind a screen. I enjoy skateboarding, skiing when I can, and keeping up with both Formula 1 and Allsvenskan.

I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the
agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd.
Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
